Several years ago I worked with Chita Rivera (The Legend) :)

We were at The Waldorf Hotel and she was to receive an award.

The Talent escort was taking her through the kitchen and I asked if there was a better way she could take.

Chita told me “Honey, I’ve seen every kitchen in NYC” .

That day forward we were best of friends.

I absolutely adore this beautiful woman!

She is still crushing it at 90

We were doing a show at Lincoln Center celebrating 50 years of Principal Talents ( Chita did “All That Jazz”

She walked into the makeup room and said “There’s my Girl” & proceeded to rule the room. We share a mutual love for one another & I made her 30 years younger.

Our fearless producer Mitch Owgang & several people remarked how fabulous she looked.

Mitch said “You know she ALWAYS writes you into her contract “ …..

Now I know what pure JOY feels like :)
