Bruce Willis

I would work with Bruce Willis any day of the week!

He is almost my favorite celebrity next to James Taylor.

Bruce just has a "GLOW" about him.  His eyes literally sparkle… & how blue they are!

He has this bright aura all around him.  He really has this calming effect on people.

Funny how he plays a real bad ass but he is  so zen.

I guess just the kindness he showes toward me really makes me feel special.  Love when people really look you in the eye when your talking to them.

LOVE Team Bruce :D

John Cena host of Nickelodeon "Teen Choice Awards"

What a cool guy John Cena is!

We were doing lots of B Roll at Viacom for his up coming role as host of the "Teen Choice Awards"….with slim and everything :D

Just before he got there he was at Good Morning America…Get this… HOLDING Al Roker over his head & doing squats.

John is a professional wrestler & actor & now a HOST!

The dude can do anything!!!!!!

It was funny to watch him try on off the rack board shorts… his thighs are HUGE but his waist is tiny.

I would never want to piss him off :D

Filming the play "Holiday Inn"

Filming LIVE plays are always a challenge!

Especially when there are 23 actors & 18 costume changes.

Also we can't forget 12 wigs & we streamed all of this LIVE on Saturday night.

Corbin Bleu was the lead (he was in The High School Musical) & he danced , sang & taped his heart out.

Holiday Inn was preformed from the original Studio 54.  If walls could talk!!!

3 days, 50 pairs of eyelashes, 18 costume changes (2 shows on Saturday) & 23 actors…. if I had the chance I would do it all over again.

Theater people are so professional.  NO mater what  THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!

Bob Dylan

So imagine getting a phone call in the middle of another huge show… Can you please fly to Birmingham Alabama to work with Bob Dylan?

Well, Bob & I have a long history.. we even share the same chiropractor.

Needless to say I was on the first plane the next day & met my friend .

Bob did a fabulous song from his new album "Fallen Angels" on a very closed set.

In the mean time I asked him about accepting his Noble Prize…

Mission accomplished.. Bob went to accept his Nobel Prize & his new album is a great success.

Life is good!

2016 Halo Awards with Jo Jo

The Nickelodeon HALO Awards is a TV special that airs on TeenNick but recently has been voted to be aired on all of the Nickelodeon channels except TVLand and Nick Jr. This year it will be hosted on Thanksgiving weekend, but usually is aired every December.[1] It profiles five ordinary teens who are Helping And Leading Others (HALO). Created by chairman Nick Cannon, the show is similar to other awards shows, such as CNN's Heroes award. The HALO Awards "...flips the script and features today’s biggest celebrities giving out the awards instead of receiving them,” said Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development of Nickelodeon.[2] It profiles four teens who are usually seniors in high school or have just started college, that sacrificed themselves to better the lives of others.

I had the best time with Jo Jo & Nick Cannon.

The show is close to my heart as it celebrates kids that are trying to make the world a better place.

Don't we ALL need that ?

Showtime At The Apollo 2016

Fox is reviving the long-running “Showtime at the Apollo” as a pair of specials with Steve Harvey set to host.

A two-hour version of the classic talent showcase from New York’s Apollo Theater will be broadcast on Fox Monday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. A one-hour special will follow in early 2017. The specials will feature elements of the Apollo’s weekly Amateur Night competition, which has been running for 82 years and helped launch the careers of artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Michael Jackson and The Jackson Five and D’Angelo.

“Showtime at the Apollo,” featuring the Amateur Night competition and performances by established stars, aired as a syndicated television show from 1987 to 2008 and featured music, comedy, dance and other acts. Harvey served as its host from 1993 to 2000.

Saving The Rainforest @ Carnegie Hall with Gina Gershon & Jennifer Nettles

Trudie Slyler & Sting never disappoint when it comes to throwing a party to save the rainforest.

I'm honored to be a part of this show when it's in New York City @ the legendary Carnegie Hall.

There are so many wonder musical acts & all the precedes go to such a beautiful cause.

It was an absolute blast to do makeup & hair for Gina Gershon & Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland.

Both ladies were AWESOME & how HOT are they????

And can I say "Sassy" … of course in a good way :D

Tony Bennett's 90th Birthday @ Radio City Music Hall

What a star packed night with everyone showing up for Tony Bennett's 90th birthday.

There was everyone from Michael Buble, KD Lang, Lady Gaga, Alex Baldwin, Bruce Willis, Steve Buscemi, Rufus Wainwright, Kevin Spacy, Andrea Bocelli, Steve Wonder, Don Rickles, Regis Philbin, Keith Richards, Bob Dylan, Diana Krall, Robert DeNiro, John McEnroe, even Miss Piggy :D

There was only myself & my assistant Corinne Tucci so needless to say we had our hands full but what a incredible show.

The love everyone has for Tony is unmeasurable.

He is a true legend & wonderful human being.

Tracy Morgan

First let me start out by saying Tracy Morgan has been a long time friend.

I totally get him & his comedy.

We had the chance to reunite last month & it was just like we never missed a beat.

Even in his darkest days during his accident he managed to make people smile with his jokes.

His laughter is contagious. He joked he was thankful a Bob discount furniture truck didn't hit him & that a Walmart truck did :D LOVE him!!!

So happy God did not take him from us!

VH1 Divas Unsilent Night

‘Tis the season for wigs, sequins, and piping hot vocals, because the VH1 Divas are coming to town.

On Friday night, the network decked the halls of Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre with the likes of Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle, Vanessa Williams, Teyana Taylor, Diana Gordon, JoJo, Bebe Rexha, Remy Ma, and more for one of the most festive musical events of the season.

With iconic performances of original tunes and larger-than-life costume changes to covers of time-tested holiday classics, the full VH1 Divas: Unsilent.

Brooklyn was on fire !!!

Most all the Divas had their own glam squad but myself & team jumped in for all the dancers & did help with all haircuts & eye lashes :D.

ood start to the holidays.

Natalie Cole

What a wonderful spirit Natalie had.

I found this photo of when I did here hair & makeup for a show & it made me sad.

She was radiant that night!  I matched her lips to the gorgeous gown she was wearing & she was so happy. We did go through at least 10 shades of red to get the perfect color.

I will miss her :(

2016 Hip Hop Honors

Oh Lord … Hip Hop Honors came back after 6 years & it all came to Lincoln Center !!!

Hip Hop Legends were in the house!!

Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado, Eve, Fat Joe, French Montana, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, Little Mama,  Angie Martinez, Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa, Ashanti, Lil'Kim & Fatima Robinson.

There where some serious Queens dashing around backstage at Hip Hop Honors.

Some of the outfits were …. kind of like …. under wear :D

It was NUTS!!!

Everything was total last minute. The extraordinary choreographer Fatima Robinson called me Sunday night around 10pm asking for 10 long ponytails for her dancers… BTW the show is the next day Monday, with 3 quick changes & that was just ONE act!!

My 17 assistants & myself KILLED IT!!

We had hair flying, wigs drying, lashes glued tight & just went with the flow!

Thats how we ROLL!

Buyer & Cellar with Michael Urie

It was a beautiful summer weekend when I headed up Westport Country Playhouse to do Michael Urei for his play "Buyers & Cellars"..

What a funny play & Michael really makes a one man show very interesting all the way until the end.

When Michael walked into the dressing room he said "I know you"… I said me too but couldn't figure out where. I was never on the set of Ugly Betty…then I went ASPEN TRAILBLAZERS!

There was a huge blizzard in NYC & he called home & his cat sitter was having a party & drinking all his booze.  We both just cracked up. I had done his makeup for a huge party for Logo in Aspen Colorado & now we meet again in Connecticut,

OMG he is so adorable & that HAIR!!!! His hair is to dye for :D

INK MASTERS FINALE WITH CHRIS NUNEZ SEASON 7

It was late one evening when I got this call to do Chris Nunez for the finale of "Ink Masters".

Now I'm not really into tats but the tattoos these artists were doing where off the charts !!

The detail and the pain that went onto this art form was amazing!

Tats aren't for everyone but I was very grateful I got called to experience this show first hand.

Chris Nunez was so sweet (and a bit nervous since it was the finale) it made it that much more fun.

"She Loves Me"

It was such an honor to work with these Tony award winning stars of the play "She Loves Me"

We filmed the play for 3 days & on the 3rd day we made history & shot it LIVE while streaming it.

It was an amazing experience & the actors couldn't be more sweet.

Jane Krakowski from 30 Rock was hysterical !!

Laura Benanti won the Tony this year for lead actress in a role.

Gavin Creel & Zachary Levi made the ladies scream :) Tom McGowan, Byron Jennings, Peter Bartlett & Nicholas Barasch were so pleasant to work with.

It is so cool that PBS is filming all these plays so the people that don't live in NYC can enjoy these amazing plays from their own living room.

I love the theather & all the people involved.

There is so much dedication to these actors as they do 9 shows a week & are so happy to be right where they are.

Broadway ROCKS!!!!

Gavin Creel making me laugh & taking a pic without me knowing.

Gavin Creel making me laugh & taking a pic without me knowing.

Will Arnett

This was a fun day with Will Arnett from Saturday Night Live.

He was doing a skit with the head of the NHL @ the Headquarters of the Nation Hockey League in New York City the day after the Stanley Cup Finals.

It was so silly...

Will just came in from The Hamptons for this quick bit & went straight back to meet his children. A friend was letting them stay in their guest house.

During shooting a scene this random girl just walks through the scene with an Emmy???

Crazy!!!

2016 Tony Awards

Ahhh The Tony Awards..my favorite award show of the year!

This is year was a bit crazier as it was held at the Beacon Theather. No backstage area and all the celebrities had to be held in the Green room across the ally at the Beacon Hotel.

This is my 18th year as Department Head and I couldn't be any prouder.

I have the best team and they all are on such good behavior and just honored to be there.

This year the biggest stars show up. Barbara Streisand presented to for BEST play which was Hamilton!  Oprah won for best Musical Revival so of course she was there to accept the award.

Hamilton swept the Tonys this year with 11 wins!

Meg Ryan came in for touch ups and we helped her with her hair & makeup. Marlee Matlin stayed with us for quite some time as we fussed over her & even fixed her gown.

Common even hung out for awhile & was as charming as ever.

Our director Glenn Weiss hit another one out of the park! He truly is the best director on the planet.

I LOVE this show & hope to continue as long as they run :)

Broadway is New York City!

Keith Urban & Bobby Bones

What a cool night at I Heart Radio.

Bobby Bones was our host in NYC at the I Heart theater.  He hosts a show is Nashville that is quite popular.

Our talent was Keith Urban.. who doesn't love him??? Keith was there promoting his new album, record, CD what ever the new term is now :D

Both were so chill. It was awesome to work with such talent and easy on the eye :)

I must confess Keith is one fantastic guitar player.

The night was full of good music and good people.

Love music shows.
